A safe space
to heal and grow

Many of the over 48,000 Australian women* experiencing homelessness have fled domestic violence, or sexual abuse.

That’s why the Gardens for Good are designed to be a safe haven, where women and their children can take refuge in a supportive and understanding community.

Finding the time and space to nurture not just the garden, but also themselves.

A chance to
learn and thrive

Teach a girl to garden, and she can feed herself for good. That’s why we help women learn to plant, maintain and harvest their own sustainable food-sources. Providing a new set of skills that’ll stay with them for life.

  • Lessons in all things veggie-gardening

  • Cooking and preserving workshops

The Gardens also host workshops and learning sessions, designed to connect women to the professional services they need to get back up and at ‘em.

  • Workshops and opportunities to learn

  • Connect with the right services
